The crime scene
Script:
1 int. the street of a house party.
Craig Brooke stumbles out of the front door on to the street and engages in drunken conversation with friends.
Craig: awe man, got to go, got – to just go, my heads mashing.
Friend: or come on, parties just getting going thought u wanted some action (laughing)
Craig: (gipping) no av got to go I feel bad
Friend: okay dude well… see you at football Friday? (Pause)
Craig: yerr go on, cya mate – cheers , in…in abit
Craig stumbles off down the street; he sees a short cut and takes a few brief seconds to decide whether to take the short cut.
2 in the alleyway.
Craig stumbles down the alley crashing into things and using the walls to help him walk, he soon realises he is not alone and he
Tries to quicken his pace until he is running.
After a few seconds of looking around he stops at a corner to catch his breath and to be sick. He hears a noise behind him and stops in fear.
The killer is hooded and stood peering over Craig.
Craig turns and the picture blacks out with a bang.
3 the crime scene in the alleyway
Craig’s body is brutally butchered on the floor; crime scene investigators are walking around looking for evidence, and taking pictures. 3 new agents are introduced to this scene, (agent Thomas lodge, agent Adam Wilshaw, agent jack kilner)
adm: this is pretty sick , I haven’t seen nothing this bad since 92 high hill.
Thomas: poor kid (sighing)
Bent over on the floor peering at some evidence
Jack: lodge, walshaw… look bloodstains leading over here
Adam and Thomas walk over to some dustbins, they find a knife.
Adam: Looks a knife
Jack: (taking pictures) bag it up, send it to the lab for fingerprints.
Thomas: well I think we got everything we need; walshaw and me are gunna head back to the station and put together what we got.
The agents pack up their gear, and get into a car while professionals are cleaning up the crime scene.
Thomas: come on its making me sick
Adam: 92…high hill murders
Thomas: what
Adam: (whispering to himself) he was never caught
The scene ends.
